This dining area was designed to frame the expansive mountain views, while softening the volume of the double-height void with textured lighting and grounding greenery. The layered glass chandeliers add a sculptural element, casting subtle reflections throughout the day.

In 2010, I began designing kitchens for a joinery

In 2010, I began designing kitchens for a joinery and construction company. It was a fun and educational experience, where I gained valuable knowledge about design, building, pricing, and the ergonomics of kitchens. After three fantastic years, I reached a point in my career where I felt a little stuck. I was spending most of my time in the office rather than onsite and noticed that clients' renovations or new builds often became a mix of too many different opinions. Between the input from those involved in tiles, flooring, furniture, and other elements, it felt like there were 'too many cooks in the kitchen,' leading to outcomes that weren't always desirable. Despite all the work, the end result didn’t always add up to the best outcome for the clients.

That's when I decided to start my own business. Eleven years on, I love meeting with my clients, seeing the entire project through, and intuitively creating homes that are perfectly aligned with their energy.
